When preparing Gift Wrap Repeats we have three Repeat measurements that you can work with (15 inch / 18 inch / 20 inch). The repeat is the measurement around the cylinder. That means everytime the cylinder makes a complete rotation - the exact same part of the design needs to be able to repeat and match up. (NOTE: THE 15" REPEAT IS THE LEAST EXPENSIVE IN PLATING).
You can use divisions of the Repeat Measurements as well.
So:
10" x 2 = 20"
(or)
7.5" x 2 = 15"
and so on.
There needs to be a side-to side-step in the pattern as well - or the pattern needs to be stepped full across the request roll width (please allow 1/4" bleed if stepping fully across the roll width).
There are many variables in creating gift wrap repeats and it is always best to send art to us to get advice about the repeats.
Please provide the art in a Macintosh vector format or a Mac compatible file:
Accepted file types:
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe InDesign
Aldus Freehand - saved as an EPS Doc
PDFs - may work if they are native files.
Jpgs/tifs are only good for quoting - they will not work for print production.
It is always best to send the file to us Compressed using Mac Stuffit (please do not send a ZIP file as our firewall does not allow them through).
